Frank Köhler (1953) lives in Amsterdam and has been a member of the Senate since 2015. Frank is a social advisor. From 2005 to 2010 je was director of the environmental group Milieudefensie (Defence of the Environment). Prior to that he was, amongst other things, a member of the national executive of the FNV trade union federation transport workers’ section, and director of the planning office of Aanvullend Openbaar Vervoer (literally, Complete or Supplementary Public Transport), an organisation established to ensure accessible public transport for people with a disability. From 1998 to 2001 Frank was an executive member of Amsterdam Council, responsible for traffic, transport and infrastructure, and social affairs. In the Senate he has responsibility for taxation, domestic affairs and regional planning.
